RideWithGPS offers all this for free and even comes with an app you can use to trace any course from your phone in real life. But it's starting to gain a following both sides of the Atlantic, particularly among trail and ultra race directors. Like with other tools, you can host your maps on hello,drifter or easily embed them on your own website. Unlike any other tool, you may be able to find a map for your race on hello,drifter even if you haven't created one yourself, courtesy of hello,drifters admins and map data contributors. If you do find a course for your race on the site, you can easily claim it by clicking the "race director" link to the right of the event map page.
